Terms of Service

Business terms and customer conditions

1. General

These Terms of Service apply to all orders placed with Southern Landscape Supplies through our website, by phone, or through other agreed ordering methods.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms should be read together with our other applicable business policies.

Southern Landscape Supplies reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time. The Terms applying to an order are those in effect at the time the order is placed.

2. Products and Product Information

We supply landscaping materials including mulches, woodchips, soils, landscaping products and softfall materials.

Our products are natural or processed landscaping materials and may vary in colour, texture, moisture content, particle size and appearance between batches.

Product descriptions, images and specifications are provided as a guide. While we aim to ensure information is accurate and up to date, minor variations may occur.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that a product is suitable for their intended use, subject to any rights they have under Australian Consumer Law.

3. Orders and Minimum Order

Products are sold by the cubic metre unless otherwise stated.

Our minimum order quantity is 2 m³.

An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed and the order has been confirmed by Southern Landscape Supplies.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where necessary, including where products are unavailable, delivery cannot reasonably be completed, incorrect information has been provided, or there are reasonable concerns regarding payment or fraudulent activity.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, any applicable refund will be processed to the original payment method, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Delivery charges are separate from product prices and are calculated based on the delivery location and applicable delivery charges shown at checkout.

Payment must be made using an available payment method at checkout.

We currently accept eligible online payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Shop Pay.

Southern Landscape Supplies may change product prices, delivery charges or available payment methods from time to time. Changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted.

5. Delivery

We provide delivery to eligible addresses, subject to delivery availability, location, vehicle access, product requirements and other practical considerations.

Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Customers must provide accurate delivery information and ensure that the delivery address can be safely and reasonably accessed by the delivery vehicle.

Delivery times provided by Southern Landscape Supplies are estimates only. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, supplier availability, vehicle or equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details, including the correct address and any relevant access instructions.

Customers must ensure that the delivery area is reasonably accessible and safe for the delivery vehicle and driver.

Where access is restricted, unsafe or unsuitable, Southern Landscape Supplies may be unable to complete delivery to the requested location.

Customers should advise us of any known access restrictions, gates, narrow driveways, low clearances, overhead obstructions or other conditions that may affect delivery.

7. Cancellations

Customers should contact Southern Landscape Supplies as soon as possible if they wish to cancel an order.

Cancellation requests may be accepted where the order has not yet been prepared, loaded or dispatched.

Once an order has been prepared or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.

Any cancellation, refund or applicable charge will be handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and applicable Australian Consumer Law.

8. Returns, Faults and Consumer Guarantees

Our Return and Refund Policy applies to returns, refunds, damaged products, incorrect orders and other product concerns.

Customers should inspect products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if there is an issue with an order.

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where a product does not meet a consumer guarantee that applies under Australian law, the customer may be entitled to a remedy as required by law.

9. Website Use

Customers must use the Southern Landscape Supplies website lawfully and must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

We aim to keep website information accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.

We may update, change or remove website content, products, prices or features without notice where reasonably necessary.

10. Australian Consumer Law

These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable Australian laws, including the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.

Where there is an inconsistency between these Terms and a mandatory legal right, the applicable legal requirement will prevail.

11. Changes to These Terms

Southern Landscape Supplies may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, services or legal requirements.

The updated version will apply to orders placed after the revised Terms are published, unless otherwise required by law.
